Du’aa after Slaughtering

1. After slaughtering recite this Du’aa:

اَللّٰهُمَّ

O Allah!

 تَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّيْ

Please accept it from me

كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَ مِنْ حَبِيْبِكَ مُحَمَّدٍ

like you accepted from Your Habeeb (Beloved) Muhammad,

 وَّخَلِيْلِكَ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ

and from Your Dear Friend Ibraheem

 عَلَيْهِمَا الصَّلٰوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ

Alaihimas Salaatu Was Salaam

      2. If you are slaughtering on behalf of someone else, then instead of “minni”, say, “min …” with the person’s name after “min”.
