  • She came to Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) having committed adultery and said: “Yaa Rasulallah! I am a married woman. My husband is out in Jihaad, and I have committed adultery. Please purify me.”
  • He made profuse Du’aa for her when she was stoned.

Lessons

  1. Adultery is a heinous crime.
  2. Sincere Taubah and Istighfaar should be made when committing a sin.
  3. A person becomes purified when repenting from sin and Allah Ta’ala’s Mercy then enshrouds the person.
  4. A True Believer never persists with sin.
