Bleeding More Than One’s Cycle

1. A woman has a cycle of 3 days haidh. Then in a certain month 3 days passed by, but the bleeding did not stop. In this case, she should wait and not have a ghusl.
2. She should not read Salaat either.
3. If the bleeding stopped upon 10 complete days, or less than 10 days, then the Namaaz of all these days are maaf (waived).
4. There will be no Qadha for these days.
5. It will be said that her cycle has changed (from 3 days to 8 or 9 or 10 days depending on the number of days she bled).
6. Hence, all these days will be haidh.
7. If, however, bleeding continued into the 11^th day, then this reveals that her haidh was only 3 days, and the rest was istihaadhah.
8. She should, therefore, have a ghusl on the 11^th day (despite blood emerging) and discharge the Qadha of the Salaats missed from the 4^th day till the 11^th.
9. From the 11^th onwards, she should not leave out any Salaat.
