Forty Ahadeeth Regarding Women (1-5)

1. “When a servant of Allah performs nikaah, he has perfected half his Deen. Now he should fear Allah in the other half.” (Baihaqi)
2. “When a Deeni person of good character sends a proposal of marriage, then perform his nikah otherwise fitnah and fasaad (mischief and corruption) on earth will become widespread.” (Tirmithi)
3. “The help of Allah is with three people:

• A mukaatab slave whose intention is to pay the sum he has taken responsibility for. (A mukaatab is a slave who pays his master a certain amount of money in return for a promise of freedom).
• One who performs nikaah with the intention of a pure life.
• One who is fighting in the Path of Allah.” (Tirmithi)

4. A woman is married for four things:

• Wealth
• Status
• Beauty
• Piety

       Now, you should marry a pious woman in order to attain success.” (Bukhaari, Muslim)

5. “When a man is alone with a ghair-mahram woman then the third one present is most definitely Shaitaan.” (Tirmithi)
