  1. Mubtadiah literally means a beginner.
  2. One who is in her first haidh or nifaas is called a mubtadiah.
  3. If a girl became baalighah with haidh, and the bleeding continued indefinitely, her haidh will be 10 days and her tuhr 20 days.
  4. In nifaas, if the bleeding of the mubtadiah continues indefinitely, or more than 40 days, her nifaas period will be 40 days.
