Tuhr in between Two Periods of Bleeding

Reading Time: < 1 minute
  1. The minimum number of days of tuhr (clean state) between two cycles of haidh is 15 days.
  2. Similarly, the minimum number of days of tuhr between nifaas and a haidh cycle is also 15 days.
  3. If the tuhr is less than 15 days in both cases (two haidh cycles and between nifaas and haidh) then the second bleeding will be istihaadhah.
  4. Thus, two periods of bleeding having a minimum of 15 days tuhr (clean state) in between, will be haidh.
  5. However, there are three conditions that must be met.
  6. The first is that each of the two periods of bleeding are at least 3 days – the minimum period of haidh.
  7. The second condition is that the bleeding should not be more than 10 days – the maximum period of haidh.
  8. And the third condition is that the clean period should not be due to falling pregnant.
  9. When these conditions are met the two periods of bleeding before and after the clean state will be confirmed to be haidh.
