Tuhr in between Two Periods of Bleeding
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- The minimum number of days of tuhr (clean state) between two cycles of haidh is 15 days.
- Similarly, the minimum number of days of tuhr between nifaas and a haidh cycle is also 15 days.
- If the tuhr is less than 15 days in both cases (two haidh cycles and between nifaas and haidh) then the second bleeding will be istihaadhah.
- Thus, two periods of bleeding having a minimum of 15 days tuhr (clean state) in between, will be haidh.
- However, there are three conditions that must be met.
- The first is that each of the two periods of bleeding are at least 3 days – the minimum period of haidh.
- The second condition is that the bleeding should not be more than 10 days – the maximum period of haidh.
- And the third condition is that the clean period should not be due to falling pregnant.
- When these conditions are met the two periods of bleeding before and after the clean state will be confirmed to be haidh.
