  • Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas’ood was a very senior Sahaabi.
  • His mother was known as Umme Abd.
  • She was a Sahaabiyah as well.
  • She was so involved in the household of our Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) that onlookers were left with the impression that she too was part of the family of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

Lessons

  1. Such special ties with the household of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa as-haabi wasallam) was solely by virtue of her Deen.
  2. Ladies! If you take care of your Deen, then you too will be conferred with closeness to Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) in the life Hereafter.
