Reading Time: < 1 minute- Haj is Fardh upon a person who has more than necessary money, enough for him/her to go for Haj and come back, whilst spending averagely on food, travel fees and accommodation for the duration of the journey.
- It is Fardh to make Haj once in a lifetime for the person who has the means.
- If a person made several Haj, the first is his/her Fardh Haj and the rest Nafl.
- A Haj performed when you were still a minor is not counted as a Fardh Haj. It will be counted as a Nafl Haj.
- When attaining the age of majority (become baaligh) the Fardh Haj has to be performed.
- Haj is not Fardh upon a blind person, no matter how rich he/she may be.
- When Haj has become Fardh, and one is able to go but does not, then one becomes sinful, even if one performs the Haj the next year or some year later.
