Bleeding at the Time of Childbirth

1. At the time of childbirth, the blood which emerges before the baby comes out is istihaadhah.
2. Similarly, the bleeding will be istihaadhah if less than half the baby comes out.
3. When half the baby or more than half appears then the bleeding that follows is nifaas.
