Istighfaar Mentioned in the Qur’aan Majeed

In this chapter the following will be mentioned:

  • The Taubah and Istighfaar of former Ambiya for themselves
  • The Taubah and Istighfaar of the former Ambiya for their people
  • The former nations being commanded with Taubah and Istighfaar

It should not be misconstrued from the Istighfaar of the illustrious Ambiya (Alaihimus Salaam) or from wrongs, etc. being attributed to them that those holy personages were sinful like us, Na’uthu Billah (We seek Allah’s protection). Them being Ma’soom – sinless – is confirmed by categorical traditional and rational proofs.
