Features of Nifaas
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- The blood of Nifaas also comes from the womb (just like haidh).
- The ruling of nifaas too comes into effect only when the bleeding extends to the external private part.
- The difference between nifaas and haidh is that the bleeding in nifaas is on account of giving birth.
- When (half or) most of the child has emerged then the ruling of nifaas comes into effect.
- Even in a miscarriage when most of the foetus or most of the parts of the foetus have come out then the blood that follows is nifaas.
- If a woman gives birth to twins within six months of each other then the nifaas will commence with the first child, (that is when half or most of the first child emerges).
- If the second child is delivered six months or more from the first then each delivery will carry a separate nifaas ruling.
