  1. Sadaqah Fitr (Fitrah) on the Day of Eid is waajib upon a person who is obligated to give Zakaat.
  2. Sadaqah Fitr (Fitrah) is also waajib upon a person who may not be obligated to give Zakaat, however he/she is in possession of surplus wealth and belongings to the value of the amount upon which Zakaat is waajib.
  3. It does matter whether the surplus wealth and belongings mentioned in (2) above are for business purposes or not.
