The Rights We Owe to Allah Ta’ala

The rights we owe to Allah Ta’ala are as follows:

  1. To maintain our belief in the Zaat and Sifaat (Supreme Being and Attributes) of Allah Ta’ala in conformity with the Qur’aan and Hadeeth.
  2. To adopt beliefs, practices, dealings and morals according to His Choice, and to shun those which He dislikes.
  3. To place Allah Ta’ala’s Pleasure and Love before everyone’s pleasure and love.
  4. All love and hatred, and benefaction and rejection should be for the sake of Allah.
