  1. There is immense thawaab (reward) mentioned in the Hadeeth Shareef for fasting.
  2. The position of the fasting person is indeed very great by Allah Ta’ala.
  3. Nabi (Alaihis Salaam) said: “Whoever keeps the fast of Ramadhaan solely for the sake of Allah and understanding it to be an act of reward, then all his previous (minor) sins are forgiven.”
