  1. You gave someone something, (verbally expressing the gift). The person accepted. The item now belongs to that person.
  2. Or you did not say anything with the tongue, (however there are indications that, making the other person the owner is the purpose of the giving,) and that person took it, now it belongs to that person.
  3. The item does not belong to you now. The person to whom you gave the item is the owner.
  4. In the Shariah, this is called Hibah.
