Talaaq Whilst Asleep, Intoxicated and in Anger

  1. ‘Talaaq’ uttered by a person whilst sleeping is of no consequence.
  2. A person gives talaaq to his wife in a drunken or intoxicated state. After becoming sober he regrets. The talaaq remains effective.
  3. Talaaq also comes into effect when given in anger.
