Forty Ahadeeth Regarding Women (31-35)

  1. “Beware of the mischief of women, because undoubtedly the first fitnah that befell the Bani Isra’eel was through women.” (Mishkaat)
  2. “A Mu’min does not bear any hatred towards his wife, for if he does not like a certain attribute of hers, he will like other attributes of hers.” (ibid)
  3. “Whoever consoles a woman who has lost her child will be shrouded with garments in Jannat.” (ibid)
  4. “The curse of Allah is on the woman who wails and cries loudly when someone passes away, and on the woman who listens to her.” (ibid)
  5. “O women! Constantly recite سُبْحَانَ اللهِ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ (Subhaanallaah, Laa Ilaaha Illallaah) and سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوْسِ (Subhaanal Malikil Quddoos), and count it on your fingers because it will be known through them when they are given tongues. And do not be unmindful of the remembrance of Allah, otherwise you will be deprived of Divine Mercy.” (Tirmithi)
