Rami of the Jamaraat at Night

Q. Is it permissible for women to pelt the Jamaraat during the night if execution of this rite is too difficult on account of huge crowds?
A. Yes, it is permissible. Although the night time is makrooh for Rami (pelting), it will be permissible for ladies because of the huge crowds during the day time. Pelting the Jamaraat is a waajib act of Hajj. If a waajib act is omitted because of a valid reason, there will be no penalty liable. Huge crowds is a valid reason for women to postpone the Rami till the night time.
