Preventing Blood or Urine from Exiting After Initially Appearing

  1. If blood or urine emerged and was then stopped from coming out further, the ruling of its emergence is not cancelled.
  2. In other words, the breaking of the wudhu and the commencement of haidh or nifaas with the appearance of the urine drop or blood drop are not nullified by preventing another drop of urine or blood from coming out.
  3. Similarly, if some mani (semen) comes out and the rest of the mani was forcefully stopped from being ejaculated, the janaabat (major ceremonial impurity) which was established by the first drop coming out, remains.
  4. The ruling of istihaadhah differs. If blood or urine is prevented from coming out, then the ruling of istihaadhah ceases to apply.
  5. In other words, one will not be a ma’zoor then.
