The Time of Maghrib

1. Once the sun has set it is time for Maghrib.
2. The time of Maghrib lasts as long as the redness in the horizon in the west remains.
3. However, you should not delay Maghrib Salaat till the stars start to shine brightly. This is Makrooh.
4. In other words, the Maghrib Salaat should be offered as soon as the sun sets. It should not be delayed later than 10 or 15 minutes from sunset when the stars start appearing brightly in the sky.
