Rights of the Ulama and Mashaaikh

In view of the Ulama of the Shariat and the Mashaaikh of Tasawwuf holding the position of heirs and successors of the Leader of the world, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam), their rights are therefore included in the rights of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

Furthermore, their rights are:

  1. To regularly make Du’aa for the Fuqaha-e-Mujtahideen, the Ulama-e-Muhadditheen, one’s Asaatizah, the Mashaaikh of Tareeqat and the Musannifeen of Deeniyyaat [writers of Deeni works].
  2. To follow them according to Shar’i protocol.
  3. To honour and show love for those among them who are alive. Not to harbour enmity or oppose them.
  4. Within one’s means and when the occasion arises to serve them financially.
