The Mother of Hazrat Abu Zarr (Radhiyallahu Anhuma)

Reading Time: < 1 minute- Hazrat Abu Zarr was a Sahaabi.
- When news of Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) proclaiming Nubuwwat spread and the kuffaar refused to believe him, then Abu Zarr left his hometown and travelled to Makkah to investigate the matter.
- After verifying the reports, he became a Muslim.
- He returned home and related everything to his mother.
- She replied: “I do not have anything against your Deen. I, too, accept Islam.”
Lessons
- Just look! This is purity of character.
- When she learnt of the Truth, she accepted it and never bothered about the way of her father and grandfather.
- Ladies! When you learn of something of the Shariah, then you too should not confront it with the custom of your family.
- Accept the practices of the Deen wholeheartedly and happily.
- And act only according to the Deen.
