When to Stop Earning More

Reading Time: < 1 minute
  1. Allah Ta’ala has created money to fulfil our needs.
  2. With the money, you can fulfil your necessities and then engross yourself in Ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala because without eating and drinking Ibaadat cannot be rendered.
  3. Thus, money and wealth are not objectives per se; they are desired for something else.
  4. Therefore, when you have gained that much which is sufficient for your needs, you should not hanker after more and multiply your wealth in greed.
  5. Hence, it is not fardh for you, if you have wealth to the degree of necessity, to increase your wealth.
  6. In fact, greed for wealth will make you forgetful of Allah Ta’ala.
  7. Being rich, traps one in sin.
  8. Think about the above very carefully.
