The Mubtadiah – A Brief Summary

1. The meaning of Mubtadiah has already been explained. See: https://khairunnisa.co.za/2025/02/06/mubtadiah-beginner/
2. So, for her haidh, any amount of bleeding from 3 days to 10 days will be haidh.
3. Less than 3 days of bleeding will not be haidh.
4. If the bleeding surpassed 10 days, then her haidh is 10 days.
5. For purposes of nifaas, her (the mubtadiah’s – the one who has given birth for the first time) nifaas is anything from 1 day, or even less than a day, till 40 days.
6. If the bleeding continues for more than 40 days than her nifaas is 40 days.
