Husband Denying Having Given Three Talaaqs

Q. My husband in anger uttered talaaq thrice to me. I do know that the nikah no longer remains after three talaaqs. However, he now denies having given three talaaqs. He says that he mentioned talaaq only twice, but I am convinced beyond doubt that he had uttered talaaq thrice. What should I do?
A. Since you are certain that he had issued three talaaqs, you are no longer his wife. You should reject his claim. It is haraam for you to live with him. If he refuses to accept the reality of you no longer being his wife, then you should immediately leave the house and spend your iddat elsewhere. Any union with him will be an adulterous relationship.
