Reading Time: < 1 minute- Upon giving birth, nifaas started.
The bleeding then stopped after some days.
This was followed by a 15-day clean period.
The bleeding then resumed and stopped before the expiry of the 40-day nifaas period.
In this case, the 15-day clean period in-between the two states of bleeding, does not separate the two bleeding periods.
From the first time she bled till the last day of the second cycle of bleeding, all these days are nifaas days including the ‘clean’ period in-between.
The rule is that 15 days of tuhr does not separate the bleeding before and after it, if all are within the 40-day nifaas period.
- If, however, the second cycle of bleeding exceeded the 40-day nifaas period, then the 15-day tuhr separates the two cycles of bleeding, as mentioned in the previous article: 30 Days of Bleeding After Giving Birth, Followed by 15 Clean Days.
