When Does a Set Number of Days in Nifaas Change?
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- A woman has a set number of days for nifaas.
- She then experiences a change in the number of days of bleeding after childbirth.
- If the bleeding carried on for more than 40 days, then her set amount of nifaas days remain unchanged.
- Her nifaas will be what she used to get previously, and whatever is more than that will be isitihaadhah.
- If she left out any Salaat during the days of the istihaadhah she should perform its Qadha.
- If the bleeding does not go beyond 40 days but is more than what her set number of days were, then all is nifaas and her set amount of nifaas days has changed.
