Solemn Acts in the Name of Some Creation

Among the acts of kufr and shir’k is to carry out a solemn religious act in the name of anyone besides Allah Ta’ala, such as:

  1. To fast in the name of someone.
  2. To make sajdah to anyone.
  3. To set an animal free in the name of someone.
  4. To sacrifice an animal in the name of someone.
  5. To take a vow in the name of someone.
