Custody of Children

1. The husband and wife have separated and Talaaq has been issued. The couple have a child. The custody of the child goes to the mother.
2. The father cannot take the child away from the mother.
3. However, all the expenses for the child have to be given by the father.
4. If the mother does not take care of the child and instead gives the child over to the father, then he must take the child, and he cannot force her to look after the child.
