1 Day Bleeding, 30 Days Clean, 1 Day Bleeding, 14 Days Clean, 1 Day Bleeding in Nifaas
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- Nifaas Aadat (Routine): 20 days
- Case: 1 day bleeding, 30 days clean, 1 day bleeding, 14 days clean, 1 day bleeding.
- Her nifaas remains 20 days, in view of the bleeding extending beyond 40 days.
- The second clean period was less than 15 days. When a clean period is less than 15 days then the bleeding preceding it, the bleeding after it and the apparent clean period in-between are combined.
- Thus, the 1 day before the 14-day clean period, the incomplete clean period of 14 days and the day thereafter are all added together, as though the bleeding continued throughout this period.
- She, therefore, bled 47 days in effect.
- Therefore, she returns to her aadat of 20 days as the bleeding was more than 40 days.
- The following diagram depicts the above scenario:
1B—30C—1B—14B—1B = 47 days
(B=Bleeding, C=Clean)
