Giving Sadaqah Fitr Before Eid, on the Day of Eid and After Eid

  1. It is best to give the Sadaqah Fitr (Fitrah) before the menfolk proceed to the Eid Gah (Musalla) for Salaah.
  2. If one did not give the Sadaqah before this, then give it after that.
  3. If the Fitrah is given before the day of Eid, in Ramadhaan, it is discharged. There is no need to give it again on the day of Eid.
  4. If a person upon whom Sadaqah Fitr was waajib did not give it and the day of Eid passed by it is not waived. One will still have to give it.
