  • Her name was Asma.
  • She is the sister of Hazrat Aishah (Radhiyallahu anhuma).
  • When Rasulallah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was making Hijrat to Madinah, there was nothing to tie the road food. She cut her waist string and with one part she tied the provisions in a cloth.

Lessons

  1. Such affection is a true sign of devotion for the Deen.
  2. She sacrificed something which provided comfort for the sake of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
  3. Love for the Deen should be so.
  4. In making your Deen better you should not bother about your Dunya becoming spoilt.
