A Home Mirroring Jahannam

A woman who is not obedient to her husband or who is hot-tempered – she argues over everything – such a woman gets a bad reputation in this world, and there is severe punishment for her in the Aakhirat. Shaikh Sa’di (Rahmatullahi alaih) also commented about her:

An abusive woman in the home of a pious man, she will experience hell even in this world.

And, indeed, it is a fact that a home in which the relationship of the spouses is not pleasant, that home is like Jahannam. Besides others laughing at them, the lives of the man and the woman become a calamity upon themselves. We have seen this state of affairs here and there.

On the other hand, a home in which the relation between the husband and wife is good, regardless of the home being a poor and impoverished home, but it is better than a rich mansion and a palace. In fact, it is a mirror of Jannat.
