A Sunnah
A routine practice of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) each night when he sat down on his bed was to spread both hands (as in du’a) and recite the three Qul Surahs (Ikhlaas, Falaq and Naas).
He would then blow into his hands and rub both hands over his entire body, starting from the head, then the face and downwards.
He would repeat this process thrice, each time reciting the surahs, blowing onto the palms of his hands and rubbing both hands over his entire body.
