Change in Number of Days with More Than 10 days Bleeding
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- Sometimes the aadat changes with regard to number of days, but it appears during the same time of the month.
- Furthermore, this change could be due to bleeding more than 10 days.
- Example: A woman has a regular cycle of 5 days haidh at the beginning of each month. It so happened that she bled 7 days before her days were due and 4 days at the beginning of the month. The bleeding then stopped. This bleeding is damm-e-faasid as it is more than 10 days. 4 of these days were on the days of her aadat, whilst 7 days preceded her aadat. In this scenario, her number of days of haidh has changed from 5 to 4, however, it is in the same location or time, that is the beginning of the month. So, her aadat has changed insofar as number of days are concerned, not insofar as time of the month is concerned.
