The following acts are bid’at and evil customs:

  1. To kiss a grave.
  2. To kiss a tazia – the symbolic tomb carried by Shiahs on the 10th of Muharram.
  3. To make tawaaf or sajdah to a grave.
  4. To read Namaaz facing a qabr.
  5. To present sweetmeats, rice, or some other food to a grave.
