Eid for a Single Sighter of the Moon

  1. If only one person sighted the moon for Eid, his sighting alone is not sufficient for Eid to be confirmed.
  2. In spite of this person bearing witness that he saw the moon he cannot celebrate Eid the next day.
  3. He will have to necessarily fast the next day like all others.
  4. He should discount his sighting and not venture to break his fast the next day.
