Some Points about Interaction with Your Husband

Now I am going to mention some points about interaction with your husband.

It is obligatory for a woman to obey her husband. The Hadeeth has greatly emphasised this. Rasool-e-Maqbool (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “If I had to command a human being to make Sajdah to another human being, I would have commanded the wife to make Sajdah to her husband.”

However, since Sajdah Ta’zeemi (Sajdah out of honour and respect) is also prohibited, hence Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) did not give permission of Sajdah for any human being.

Just reflect over what level of obedience has been commanded in this Hadeeth of obedience to one’s husband!

A woman who is disobedient to her husband and her husband is unhappy with her, then such a woman is distanced from the Rahmat of Allah Ta’ala until she makes her husband happy again.

Bear in mind that if a husband is unhappy on account of the wife carrying out the Faraaidh of Deen, then in this case his unhappiness should be ignored, as is mentioned again in the Hadeeth:

لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَخْلُوْقٍ فِيْ مَعْصِيَةِ الْخَالِقِ

“There is no obedience to creation in something which entails the disobedience of the Creator.”

Here too, this mas-alah was mentioned just to alert you, otherwise, Insha Allah this will not happen to you.
