Qurbaani on Behalf of Minor Children

1. It is waajib to make Qurbaani only on behalf of oneself.
2. It is not waajib to make Qurbaani on behalf of your children.
3. In fact, even if one’s na-baaligh (minor) child has the money, then too it is not waajib to make on behalf of him, neither from the child’s money nor from one’s own money.
4. If a parent makes Qurbaani for his/her minor child then the Qurbaani is nafl.
5. However, in all cases it should be done with one’s own money, not from the minor’s money.
