Khairun Nisa, the Wife of Hazrat Haaji Imdaadullah (Rahmatullahi Alaihima)
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- She was from Thanabawan, India.
- Before Hazrat Haaji Imdaadullah Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih) made Hijrat to Makkah Mukarramah, she was proposed in marriage to him, but Haaji Saheb declined the proposal.
- She thus got married to someone else who later passed away and she became a widow.
- After making Hijrat to Makkah Mukarramah, when the first wife of Hazrat Haaji Imdaadullah Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih), Bibi Khadeejah passed away, then Hazrat’s devotees suggested to him to marry again.
- Hazrat Haaji Saheb (Rahmatullahi alaih) replied: “Bibi Khairun Nisa is in Thanabawan. If she accepts, then, fine.”
- Coincidentally, Bibi Khairun Nisa had come to Makkah Mu’azzamah, and here, they were married.
- She was an Aalimah of Mathnawi Shareef (Moulana Jalaalud Deen Roomi’s magnificent Tasawwuf kitaab).
- She was extremely devoted to Ibaadat and very particular about her time.
- Women who knew her would say that the only difference between her and Hazrat Haaji Saheb was that he was a male and she was a female, otherwise the excellences of Hazrat Haaji Saheb are apparent on her as well.
