  1. The blood which comes out during pregnancy is not haidh, it is istihaadhah, regardless of the number of days of bleeding.
  2. Similarly, the blood which comes out at the time of labour, before the child exits is istihaadhah.
  3. The blood which appears before half of the child comes out is also istihaadhah.
