The Qur’aan

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Do not make your homes a graveyard. Verily, shaitaan flees from a home wherein Surah Baqarah is recited.”

A house wherein the inmates do not make tilaawat of the Qur’aan is like a desolate graveyard. It becomes a haunt for the shayaateen. Recitation of the Qur’aan Majeed expels the shayaateen from the home. The home becomes spiritually radiant with noor.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Verily, these hearts rusts just as steel rusts with moisture.” The Sahaabah asked: “What is its polish?” Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) replied: “Remembering maut in abundance and recitation of the Qur’aan.”

In the grave, the Qur’aan will become a shield against the punishment of the grave.
