  1. It is best to slaughter your Qurbaani animal yourself.
  2. If you do not know how to slaughter then someone else should do it for you.
  3. It is best to be present when your animal is sacrificed.
  4. If due to Pardah you cannot be present [that is, on account of the presence of non-Mahram males you cannot go to the place of slaughter], then there is no harm [in not witnessing the slaughter of your Qurbaani].
