Conditions for the Confirmation of Nifaas

  1. There are two conditions for the confirmation of nifaas:

1.1 most of the child emerging,

1.2 blood coming from the inner genital tract.

  1. As long as the above two conditions are not found a woman is not in nifaas and Salaat remains obligatory upon her.
  2. If a woman gives birth but does not bleed, she will still have to incumbently take a ghusl (ritual bath) to become clean and start performing her Salaat.
