Nifaas in a Miscarriage
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- In a miscarriage, if the foetus has developed some human features, such as hair, a nail, a hand, foot, a finger, etc. then it is considered a baby.
- The mother goes into nifaas with the birth of such a baby.
- All rules of birth are therefore applicable to her, such as ending of iddat (if she was in iddat due to talaaq or death of her husband), etc.
- Before the miscarriage if she bleeds it will not be haidh because she is pregnant.
- A woman who is pregnant does not have menstrual bleeding.
