The Most Important Thing When Going to Your New Home

Now in this regard [ease in your present home and in your next home], I will tell you that the first thing you will have to do when you go to your in-laws’ home, and what you will be tested with, is household management, together with cleaning the house, hosting guests, treating relatives well, and your skills.

The most important thing is household management. If you don’t know this, it’s as if you can’t do anything.

Presently there are people to teach and guide you [your mother, elder sisters, or others in your present home], but later, there won’t be anyone to care for you. Whatever comes your way, you will have to deal with it.

If you don’t do it today [that is, you do not inculcate household management today], it won’t be done tomorrow. And even if it is done [and learnt in your future home] then it will be done with a thousand problems.

If negligence becomes your habit, you will be despised by others. Then, where will you gain respect and happiness?
