Reading Time: < 1 minute
- Hazrat Huzaifah (Radhiyallahu anhu) is a Sahaabi.
- He says that once, his mother asked him: “How many days now you have not gone to Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)? I told her how long. She shouted me.
- I replied: ‘I am going now and going to read Maghrib Namaaz with him. I am going to request him to make Du’aa of forgiveness for me and you.’
- I went and read Maghrib and Isha.
- After Isha, Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) left. I followed him.
- Hearing my voice, he asked: ‘Is it Huzaifah?’
- I replied: ‘Yes.’
- He asked: ‘What do you want? May Allah grant you and your mother forgiveness.’”
Lessons
- See how good lady she was!
- She was even concerned about whether her children were going to Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) or not.
- Ladies! You too should emphasise to your children that they go and sit by the Buzrugs (saintly and pious people).
- They should go and learn the Deen by them.
- They should derive the blessings (barkat) of good company.
