Mahram for Haj

Nowadays many women travel without a mahram. This too is haraam and a major sin.
Haj is not Fardh on a woman who does not have a mahram. In fact, even if she has a mahram, but the mahram is unable to perform the Haj or the woman is not able to provide the expenses for the mahram’s Haj, then too the Haj is not Fardh on her.
It is utterly regretful that Haj is not Fardh on her, yet she goes and perpetrates so many wrongs. When it is not Fardh on her to go for Haj then why does she go on a journey for Haj?!
