Follow the Command of Your Salaat

1. Hazrat Abdullah Bin Mas’ood is an eminent Sahaabi.
2. He is a great Aalim and Muttaqi (Allah-fearing).
3. He reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Without doubt the Salaat of a person who does not follow it is not accepted. (The sign or effect of) following Salaat is in (abstaining from) its prohibition of shameless deeds and sinful acts.”
4. His Salaat not being accepted means that he will not receive thawaab (divine reward) for it, although in certain cases his Fardh may be discharged and he may even get some reward.
