Forcing the Wife to Make Khula’

1. The wife was not happy about making khula’. The husband pressurized her to make khula’. He threatened her and beat her. Finally, she relented and accepted to make khula’. In this case, talaaq comes into effect, but the woman is not required to give him any money.
2. If in this case there was mahr outstanding, it too, does not become waived. The man will have to pay the mahr or whatever is outstanding of it.
